Meteor is a 300-pound, glacially-sculpted boulder suspended in the air and pierced by a welded stainless steel arc.

The sculpture speaks to Curtis ís earlier practice of hanging boulders, to his use of steel, and to his penchant for allowing the natural, untouched state of the boulder to carry the visual weight of the sculpture.
